Medina Cuadros collaborates for the ninth consecutive year with Gavi the Vaccines Alliance and Obra Social “La Caixa” to support the Business Alliance for Child Vaccination.

With the donation made by Medina Cuadros and other companies, five million children under 5 years of age in the poorest countries of the world have been vaccinated.

Medina Cuadros joins in this way to the work of the Banking Foundation. “La Caixa”, thus offering the opportunity to fight for against infant mortality. The mission of this Business Alliance for Childhood Immunization is focused on saving children’s lives and protecting the health of the population by increasing the number of children vaccinated. equitable use of vaccines in the disadvantaged countries. Since the beginning of this alliance, Gavi has been able to vaccinate 540 million children and has prevented 9 million premature deaths.

On this occasion the contribution of Medina Cuadros will be destined to the distribution of the Pneumococcal vaccine in Mozambique. This vaccine protects the infant population against pneumonia, which is already the leading cause of infant mortality globally.
