The Association of Legal Communicators and Informers (ACIJUR) celebrated for the seventh year at the Madrid Press Association the award ceremony 'Puñetas Awards', which annually recognize the work of those who, from different legal bodies, They carry out outstanding work in the world of law and justice.
This edition, which also coincided with the 10th anniversary of the founding of this association, was attended by the President of the Congress of Deputies, Ana Pastor; the Minister of Justice, Rafael Catalá, and the Attorney General of the State, Julian Sanchez Melgar, among other personalities from the legal and journalistic world.
The prize 'Golden Fists' has been awarded posthumously to José Manuel Maza, not only for his work as Attorney General of the State, especially in the Catalan conflict, but for all a life of service to justice, as an author of reference books and a man of harmony and dialogue.
The prize 'Silver Punches' has been granted to Observatory against Domestic and Gender Violence, for her institutional work and her commitment to achieving a State Pact against Gender Violence, ultimately signed by the majority of parliamentary forces.

Herein VII edition, ACIJUR has established the PUÑETAS SPECIAL AWARD FOR THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF ACIJUR that has fallen on the Article 20 of the Spanish Constitution which recognizes the right to information and freedom of expression as fundamental rights that have allowed the development of Democratic State of Law and an essential tool for journalists and media outlets to become generators of public opinion. This award was received by the President of the Congress of Deputies, Ana Pastor, who took the opportunity to congratulate all the winners and acknowledged being proud of the response of the Rule of law in the face of the challenges it faces. He also highlighted the importance of this article of the Constitution, which has been fundamental for the development of legal and court journalism and has allowed ensure the independence and objectivity of the information content.
For the sixth year, the award has been granted 'Peripheral Damn', in order to recognize the work carried out by a person or legal institution throughout the national territory. On this occasion, the award has been given to Helena Maleno, researcher specialist in migration and human trafficking, Journalist and advocate for the rights of people who want to migrate from sub-Saharan Africa in transit to Europe
Once again, the prize has been awarded in the field of irony 'Go to Hell' which in its 7th edition has been awarded to the independence process in Catalonia.
